Advanced Tutu Course Level 3: Honeycomb Classical Tutu with Removable Basque and Plate NEW TECHNIQUES!

Course Description: NEW for 2026... Claudia’s Honeycomb Classical Tutu Design, complete with a new-to-tutu-pleating fabric manipulation technique. This tutu is cut shorter and made by mixing various densities and shades of tulle with rose montees embellishments.

Our design also  introduces another new design technique: it is made with the basque and top (honeycomb) layer removable so the under-tutu can be used for other roles by adding a different top layer and basque. This design idea will revolutionize your ability to easily re-use tutu bases for many different ballet variations, saving you money! This is a Level Three class. See prerequisites for level three. 

Prerequisites: Level Two Classical Tutu Course, or you can email us detailed pictures of your work and a note detailing your experience to demonstrate proficiency. This design needs excellent manual dexterity and fine hand-sewing skills.

Payments: Tutu.com Courses are available for those attending TutuSchool. Cost for this course INCLUDES the class, the teacher, and all fabrics and notions. Payments are non-refundable, however a TutuSchools credit, less 10%, will be granted for use within one year at any of our seminar locations when requested more than 30 days in advance of your seminar.
