Advanced Tutu Course Level 2: Contemporary Tutu

Course Description: This Contemporary Tutu is made in the classical style, but with a very sculptural twist. It can be made in one of two styles: 1. The top layer is made of stretch fabric that is hooped with a special, twistable hooping to create a "Potato Chip" Style or 2. A highly structured wire that holds its “flying saucer,” very flat, shape. Three styles to choose from, one flying saucer-style, and two sculptural styles. These designs all have a special, contemporary basque that is very different from a traditional classical tutu.

Prerequisites: Classical Performance Tutu Level One, or email detailed pictures of your work and a note detailing your experience to [email protected] to demonstrate proficiency.

Payments are non-refundable, however a TutuSchools credit, less 10%, will be granted for use within one year at any of our seminar locations when requested more than 30 days in advance of your seminar.
