This fabric is discounted because the edges are dirty in places, probably from a warehouse floor. We have washed some for our use and it is very easy to wash. Fold it neatly and safety pin it together in several places to keep it from bunching up and getting wrinkly, then put it in a laundry bag and wash in a machine on a delicate cycle.
