Join Claudia Folts, founder and creative director of Tutu.com, for a live online class focused on creating a properly fitted basque pattern for classical or romantic tutus. With 30+ years of professional experience, Claudia will guide you step by step through the patterning process.

What You’ll Learn

• How to draft a basic tutu basque pattern from measurements

• Understanding fit and structure for classical and romantic tutus

• Why accurate basque patterning is essential to a successful tutu

You will actively participate during class and finish with a completed basque pattern drafted to your own measurements.

What’s Included

Prior to class, you’ll receive a Basque Patterning Kit (a $38 value) shipped to you, which includes:

• Printed instructions

• Patterning material with ease markings

• Tenths ruler

• A list of additional simple supplies to have on hand (pencil, tape, scissors, calculator or phone)

Please register early to allow sufficient time for kit shipment.

Live Q&A

Following the patterning portion of the class, there will be a live question-and-answer session where you may ask Claudia questions about basques and broader tutu-making topics.
