Hoopwire - Single Wire Plastic-Coated Steel 3/8 Inch Black - Enough for One Tutu

Priced per 86-inch piece. 3/8-inch wide Single-Wire Hoopwire, Black.

This is excellent for classical and bell-shaped tutus. Also great for panniers and other under-skirt structures.

This is an 86-inch piece of hoopwire, enough to hoop one tutu, up to a 16-inch top layer size, with extra so you can cross it over and tape it together, making it easy to adjust the hoop, if needed, for different styles.  If making a smaller tutu, simply cut off the excess, leaving several inches to overlap and tape the overlapped ends, once inserted in the tutu.  Made with the extra crossed-over hoopwire in the casing, allows you to adjust the hoopwire according to what the dancer or director wants - flatter, or more bell-shaped.  It is also extremely secure when taped together, much safer for partnering than using connectors.  We use electrical tape or a strong clear, packing tape, since both tapes hold up well under wet conditions - they won't come un-taped with sweat.
