Dying to Dye Course Level 1: The Basics

Course Description: Join us for a fun afternoon or evening of dyeing! In this hands-on class, you will learn the processes behind microwave dyeing of trims and appliques; basic fabric painting techniques; and immersion; simple dip dyeing, and ombre-dying, of pre-cut net top layers for a tutu.  

Each student will also receive six different fabric samples with which they will experiment and a pre-cut top layer of tutu net that they can dye to use on a tutu project when they get home. We supply print-outs and several other instructional handouts. We have limited room for this class, so we will only take seven students per dye class.

Payments: Tutu.com Courses are available for those attending TutuSchool. Cost for this course INCLUDES the class, the teacher, and all fabrics and notions. Payments are non-refundable, however a TutuSchools credit, less 10%, will be granted for use within one year at any of our seminar locations when requested more than 30 days in advance of your seminar.
