Classical Rehearsal Tutu Course Level 1

Course Description: A pull-on-style classical tutu, with a choice of a 2-inch wide elastic “basque” and built-in powernet panty or a lycra basque and built-in powernet panty. With 6 to 8 layers, depending on size, this tutu is a great “first tutu” or rehearsal tutu. All layers are machine-ruffled.  There is no hoop, but you will still add a hoop casing in case you want to add a hoop down the road. You will gun-tack this tutu. Add some fun to your tutu with our top layer polka dot options or choose our Vintage-style “retired-tutu-look,” made with under layers of net and top layers of soft tulle and very light tacking.

Prerequisites: Clothes or costume making experience; sewing-machine and hand-sewing skills. This course is not appropriate for those who do not yet know how to sew. If you are new to dance costuming, Level One courses are a great place to start!

Payments are non-refundable, however a TutuSchools credit, less 10%, will be granted for use within one year at any of our seminar locations when requested more than 30 days in advance of your seminar.
