Classical Tutu Finishing Techniques Course: The Art of Steaming/Hooping/Tacking (Any Level)

Course Description: Already know how to make a classical tutu and still not completely happy with your finished look? OR, Have you just finished taking your first 3-day tutu class and need more time and attention with the finish work? Classical Tutu Finishing Techniques class is for you! Bring a tutu you have made to class and we will work with you, step-by-step, to properly steam, hoop, hand and/or gun-tack. This class will be offered twice during TutuSchool-Charlotte – The first, Group A – will be held at our Shop. We only have 5 openings for this class when held at the Shop, so don’t wait too long to register. For Group B, which will be held on the last day of TutuSchool-Charlotte at the hotel, we have more room so we can take more students, up to 12.

If you would like to bring a finished tutu as well, you will have the opportunity in this class to get constructive feedback on your work and will be encouraged to ask any questions and discuss any of the tutu-making skills that you find particularly difficult.

Prerequisites: Must have a completed, but untacked, classical tutu to work with. Perfect for students enrolled in any Classical Tutu Course!

Payments: Tutu.com Courses are available for those attending TutuSchool. Cost for this course INCLUDES the class, the teacher, and all fabrics and notions. Payments are non-refundable, however a TutuSchools credit, less 10%, will be granted for use within one year at any of our seminar locations when requested more than 30 days in advance of your seminar. If you must drop out within 30 days of the class date, no credit will be issued. Pay in monthly installments with ShopPay or PayPal Credit.
